  1. Terrible ……………friends adopted a girl in China and they were told by people at the US consualte over there it’s not uncommon for moms to leave the bays on the street. Only 1 in 5 abandoned kids is thought to live .

And if orphanages don’t think they can find a home for the babys or there too much trouble/have severe birth defects they get murdered .

  2. Yes. This is a huge problem in many countries. Romania is the same way as is India.

Here is the true issue. If we say that a woman has the right to make a choice, cut off a pregnancy, then why does she not have the same choice AFTER the child is born? What is the difference? Even if we disagree about when life begins we must at least admit that the potential of life is cut off.

  3. Do think if you have a baby it’s up to you to raise it or at least find a good home for it.Have to hand it to the women in China who go out of there way to make sure the unwanted child is left someplace safe and will have the chance to be adopted or at least taken care of in a orphanage.

Having a baby is another matter, and abortion is never easy .

  4. Well Saint you must be happy about Sarah Palin being named McCain’s VP running mate . She’s anti-choice !

They say the Republicans are trying to win Hilary voters , if so there naive . Palin’s’ anti- abortion stand along with being pro war , anti gun control , and pro home schooling , off shore drilling rule that out with most of us .

Am happy though a woman was nominated. It’s a big step for all of us .

Still do plan on doing some volunteer work for Obama this week……..
